New Member Orientation

All new REALTOR® members* of the Board are required to complete a New Member Orientation Program within their first 180 days of acceptance as a requirement of membership.

At this program, you will learn more about what the REALTOR® Association has to offer, meet Board leaders and network with other new members of the REALTOR® Association. Complimentary refreshments will be served.  Associates may invite their Principals to join them also.

Our next New Member Orientation Program will be held at the Providence Marriott, 1 Orms Street, Providence, RI 02904 on 9/30/19 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m.
New members of RICABOR who have yet to complete this requirement, can click here to sign up.

We thank our generous sponsors of our 2019 New Member Orientation Programs:

D’Ellena Law Office
Lynch’s Cleaning & Restoration
Rhode Island Housing

*As a point of reference, REALTOR® isn't a synonym for real estate broker or real estate salesperson. A REALTOR®, simply put, is an individual who has voluntarily sought membership in the REALTOR® Association and abides by the Code of Ethics of the NAR. A REALTOR® is someone who is licensed as either a real estate salesperson or broker, appraiser, auctioneer, counselor or property manager. The REALTOR® Association’s Bylaws require all REALTOR® members to complete the New Member Orientation Program.
